A New Desktop Laser Heated TLD Reader

We describe a new laser heated TLD system consisting of a desktop reader and a sealed eight element badge for measurement of doses delivered by mixed beta, gamma and fast neutron fields. A commercial system based on this design will soon be available. Results of performance tests are presented.
