Summary: | This paper describes the results of a semi-controlled experiment conducted to obtain experimental verification of the results of a computer model designed to analyze the propagation of high frequency carrier signals on operating three phase power distribution feeders. The paper describes the set experiments conducted on an operating feeder and the apparatus used to evaluate the propagation of signals over the range of 5 kHz to 50 kHz. Results of the set of experiments are presented and compared with the results of the analysis using the computer model. The comparison provides an understanding of the applicability of the computer model to carrier, noise, and harmonic propagation on power distribution feeders.< > |
