Summary: | IN CONSIDERING the heating of radio-frequency cables due to internal causes, there first must be determined the distribution and intensity of the generation of heat caused by the conductor and dielectric losses. Then the diffusion of the heat throughout the cable and its dissipation at the surface are considered in order to determine the resulting temperature rises at various locations in the cable. |
