Optical Fiber Refractive Index Profiling by Iterative Optical Diffraction Tomography

A non-destructive iterative interferometric tomographic technique is proposed for imaging fibers with high refractive index contrast, complex structures, and/or large optical path differences. Both simulation and experimental results demonstrate that this technique enables the reconstruction of fibe...

Description
Summary:A non-destructive iterative interferometric tomographic technique is proposed for imaging fibers with high refractive index contrast, complex structures, and/or large optical path differences. Both simulation and experimental results demonstrate that this technique enables the reconstruction of fiber refractive index profiles accurately and robustly with sub-wavelength resolution.
