Design of two-dimensional recursive digital filters with specified magnitude and group delay characteristics
A technique is proposed for the design of two-dimensional (2-D) recursive filters with a response that best approximates, in the l_p sense, prescribed magnitude and group delay specifications. The filter stability is guaranteed through the use of a frequency transformation. The optimization techniqu...

Summary: | A technique is proposed for the design of two-dimensional (2-D) recursive filters with a response that best approximates, in the l_p sense, prescribed magnitude and group delay specifications. The filter stability is guaranteed through the use of a frequency transformation. The optimization technique used is that of Davidon-Fletcher and Powell. Several examples are given to illustrate the proposed algorithm. |
