Under the theme "Instrumentation and Measurement for Sustainable Development," the conference covered many topics related to Instrumentation and Measurement, with papers presented on the following topics: 1) Biomedical Instrumentation; 2) Measurements on Energy and Power Systems; 3) Wireless Sensors; 4) Noninvasive Measurement Techniques; 5) Nanotechnology Applications in Measurement and Instrumentation; 6) Noise Measurements in Electronic Devices; and 7) Sensors and Instrumentation for the Environment and Climate Change Monitoring. Twenty-three papers originally presented at the conference were selected for publication in this special issue.
