Crossties and spikes on geometrically defined tracks
In this paper we describe the utilization of a geometric effect to locate and stabilize shift register tracks in a crosstie memory. The same effect can be used in nucleating "spikes" on Néel-wall-like tracks which suggest another form of magnetic memory.
