Description
Summary:Security evaluation is becoming an important part of power system operation. This paper presents a feasible pattern recognition approach to security evaluation in power systems. The evaluation problem is defined in the framework of pattern recognition and methods to obtain security functions are outlined. Simulation results on steady state and transient securities of the CIGRE 225 kv system are included.
