Description
Summary:This paper presents the observation of the luminosity of stratified glow discharges with small anode (3 mm in diameter) and different geometries of the cathodes. The following geometries have been tested: 1. cylindrical chamber that is 50 cm in diameter and 60 cm in height, with an anode placed in the center; 2. ring cathode (diameter of 15 cm and width of 1 cm) inside of a spherical glass chamber that is 30 cm in diameter; and 3. ring cathode (diameter of 20 cm and a distance between glass plane windows of 2 cm). All photos were obtained for (1 : 1) air-acetone mixture.
