Description
Summary:Three-phase power flows and modal analysis are employed to the voltage stability margin calculation by means of the P-V curves for different power systems' operating conditions. In this letter, a static synchronous compensator (StatCom) is included with the purpose of analyzing its behavior on the improvement of voltage stability margins. The study is made on a three-phase "abc" reference frame, taking into account balanced and unbalanced conditions. This allows realizing that some phases may be closer than other ones to voltage collapse
