Description
Summary:This is an important screening study in a large multi‐ethnic Asian country, which further extends our understanding of the prevalence of renal disease in different populations. The frequencies of albuminuria, hypertension and diabetes in patients previously unaware of their disease serves to focus on the need for screening and again raises the question of whether this should be targeted or non‐selective.
