The Influence of Stress Frequency on the Fatigue Strength of Cortical Bone
The fatigue strength of bovine cortical bone is shown to increase with stress frequency. An analytical model provides an excellent correlation of the data and indicates that the effect of stress frequency is a result of strain rate increasing with frequency.
