Summary:Original positions of the interstate standard GOST 30691-2001 are considered, in which the requirements are established to declaration and verification of noise emission values of machinery and equipment, being manufactured in Russia and imported there from different countries. The comparison of the standard with the International standard ISO 4871:1996 is conducted. The main differences are marked. The suggestions for standards revision are made.
