Description
Summary:Relaxation processes in selenium have been studied using internal friction spectra with the aim of gaining insight into the mechanisms of the structural/kinetic mobility of elements in the system. We have assessed the effect of a substrate on the height and temperature of the dissipative loss peak in the internal friction spectrum of glassy selenium and calculated physicochemical characteristics of the α-relaxation process in selenium.
