Description
Summary:By Raman spectroscopy the structural dynamic properties of rubidium nitrate RbNO 3 and its heterogeneous composites with nanosized powder of alumina Al 2 O 3 are studied at different temperatures, phase states, and concentrations of Al 2 O 3 nanopowder. At high concentrations ( x ≥ 0.5) of the Al 2 O 3 filler an additional component with a maximum at ν 1 c ∼ 1049 cm −1 is detected in the Raman spectrum of the heterogeneous system. It can be assigned to NO 3 − vibrations located in the near-surface region of Al 2 O 3 nanoparticles. Furthermore, at high concentrations ( x ≥ 0.5) of the Al 2 O 3 filler spectral manifestations of phase transitions of crystalline rubidium nitrate RbNO 3 disappear. This indicates a radical change in the microstructure of the heterogeneous system in comparison with the homogeneous one.
