Description
Summary:A method for predicting the polarization characteristics of substances from the known permittivity and molar volume of parahydrogen ( p -H 2 ), polarization characteristics of a reference, and the molar volume and internal interaction energy of the substance under study is suggested. The method is based on the assumption that the ratio between the deformation components of molar polarization at the given and critical temperatures is a universal function of reduced temperature.
