Summary: | The present paper gives a brief review of the state of and prospects for the development of systems intended to provide water chemistry of modern heat-power units installed at thermal power stations. Special emphasis is placed on the necessity for tightening the standards of the quality of the aqueous working medium in connection with the possible change-over to ultra-supercritical steam conditions. There is given an example of the measurements of the electrical conduction and a pH value of feedwater and steam in a once-through TGMP-314 boiler to evaluate the content of organic substances in feedwater. |
