Features of the formation of X-ray images in birefringent crystals
The results of studying the birefringence effect on the spatial structure of X-ray images (XRIs) under illumination of the diffracting anisotropic-crystal surface by a spatially modulated light beam are presented. It is shown that the XRI resolution decreases in the case when the temperature field d...

Summary: | The results of studying the birefringence effect on the spatial structure of X-ray images (XRIs) under illumination of the diffracting anisotropic-crystal surface by a spatially modulated light beam are presented. It is shown that the XRI resolution decreases in the case when the temperature field determining the spatial XRI structure is formed by a light beam propogating through the crystal and is absorbed at the interface between the diffraction region and the absorbing coating. |
