Description
Summary:The problem of increasing the noise immunity of ultrasonic flaw-detecting devices is considered in the case of using complex signals. An approach to the choice of the type of signal and the processing technique is substantiated. A special-purpose flaw detector in which complex phase-coded signals in the frequency range 0–1 MHz is used is described. The results of the experimental studies of the noise immunity and resolution of such a flaw detector are described [1].
