Summary:The problems of the modeling and calculation of the screen probe for eddy-current testing of soldered joints in the stator windings of turbogenerators according to the finite-element method are considered. The choice of an informative parameter is rationalized and the effects of interfering parameters are studied; the principal characteristics of the designed probe and results of their testing on real objects are given.
