Description
Summary:The influence of the fullerene content and temperature on the IR absorption and luminescence spectra of poly( N -vinylcarbazole) (PVK)-C 60 composites prepared by vacuum deposition has been studied. It has been demonstrated that the luminescence spectra of the composites produced by vacuum deposition on substrates differ significantly from the spectra of the samples prepared by pouring of a toluene solution of PVK on the same substrates and the spectra of the samples synthesized by deposition in an inert gas atmosphere. The explanation for this phenomenon has been proposed. It has been revealed that the sizes of the structures absorbing IR radiation increase with an increase in the C 60 concentration in PVK-C 60 layers. It has been experimentally proved that, under the influence of light with a wavelength of 514.5 nm, the PVK-C 60 composites undergo photoinduced reversible changes, which lead to nontrivial concentration-dependent changes in the luminescence spectrum.
