Description
Summary:The behavior of a transmission function for energy analyzers of spectrometers with power-type potentials is considered. It is established that an integral relationship between the measured current and true spectrum of electrons as mediated by the transmission function is described by a first-order Volterra integral equation. A strict algorithm for calculations of the transmission function for energy-dispersive electron spectrometers is proposed. Analytical calculations have been performed for two variants of the power-type energy analyzer and examples of the transmission function in the case of a point source are given.
