Synthesis of alkyl 7-aryl-6-aroyl-4,7-dihydrotetrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-5-carboxylates

Reactions of alkyl aroylpyruvates with a mixture of aromatic aldehyde and 5-aminotetrazole led to the formation of alkyl 7-aryl-6-aroyl-4,7-dihydrotetrazolo [1,5- а ] pyrimidine-5-carboxylates.
