Summary:Controlled release herbicide formulation was prepared by microencapsulation using interfacial polymerization technique. Methylene bisdiphenyl diisocynate (MDI) based polyuria as shell wall material containing mertribuzin herbicide as a core moiety has been prepared by an interfacial polycondensation reaction in emulsion globules between diisocyanate and ethylene diamine.
