Description
Summary:Methods for evaluating the bactericidal and fungicidal activity of silver nanoparticles have been developed using solid culture media. Different cultures of microorganisms responsible for food spoilage have been used to evaluate the efficiency of the antimicrobial effect. The relative efficacy of silver-nanoparticle-based drugs obtained by different methods is determined. The methods discussed in this paper can be used for comparing the bactericidal and fungicidal activity of nanoparticles when conducting research, it can find application in production control, and data on antimicrobial activity can be applied for the development of promising preservatives and drugs.
