Excitation function measurements of the elastic and inelastic scattering of protons in the 1600 to 5300 keV energy range for Li and F

The γ-rays were detected by a HPGe detector placed at an angle of 135° with respect to the beam direction. The purpose of these measurements is to improve the cross-sections accuracies necessary to set up PIGE (Proton Induced Gamma-ray Emission) as an accurate standard less technique for lithium and fluorine, and to test and improve theoretical models and codes such as TALYS 1.9.
