Description
Summary:Assuming the validity of Schottky's theory for the positive column, the electron temperature of plasma columns in HF stationary discharges is estimated by measuring their length. The discharges are produced in narrow quartz tubes. At particularly low pressure for a quasi capillary column, the estimation is made by a microwave reflectometric diagnostic using various equilibrium models to describe the column.
