Summary: | The CAMAC system, composed of a front-end processor and a super minicomputer, was realized for nuclear physics experiments using continuous ion beams from a cyclotron and was found to be applicable to measurements at a high counting rate of up to 100 kB/s by transferring of the block data between the two processors. The large scaled central computer also became useful for on-line analyses of data obtained at a high rate. |
