Volume Expansion and Ag Doping Amounts in the Photodoping Process in Amorphous As 2 S 3

Summary: | The behavior of volume expansion in the photodoping phenomenon has been studied
by using Rutherford backscattering, fringes of equal chromatic order and X-ray diffraction
methods. The quantities of volume expansion in the 1st and 2nd stages of photodoping have
been determined as 1.13 and 1.43 on average over the three methods, respectively.
The composition ratios of Ag to As
2
have also been determined as 1.30 for the
1st stage of photodoping and 2.38 for the 2nd stage. These values have been discussed
in relation to the lateral diffusion and the diffusion model. |
