Summary: | The anodic double layer is studied by electrical methods. Irradiating this layer with an optical electromagnetic radiation, resulted in current intensity oscillations and also an increase in their amplitude. A theoretical model is described on the basis of a nonlinear diffusion equation, and both double layer diameter and characteristic oscillation time were calculated. Theoretical results are in agreement with experimental results. |
