Summary: | Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is very sensitive to the frequency offset that causes intercarrier interference (ICI). A multiple symbol encapsulated orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MSE-OFDM) system with a self inter-carrier interference (ICI) cancellation scheme is proposed to reduce the ICI effect and increase the bandwidth efficiency. Performance analysis shows that this proposed system can cancel ICI effectively and is particularly suitable for channels with long impulse response. |
