description The cardiovascular diseases are the most common reason for premature deaths and disability, which is a major cause of increasing health care costs, particularly in developed nations, but also becoming more frequent in the developing world. Nurses have the responsibility of being the professionals who are most involved in ECG monitoring. The researcher developed ECG Interpretation Intervention (ECGII) on knowledge as well as skill for the nursing student. The MANOVA test was computed to compare the knowledge and skills between the experimental and control groups before that homogeneity of the groups is tested by Levene’s test. The result of the study shows that ECGII was effective enhancing the skill and knowledge among the students. Therefore, it can be concluded that ECGII is very effective in increasing students' knowledge and skills in ECG and interpretation among nursing students.
