Summary: | Hydrogen production from processing a wide range of renewable and petroleum-based liquid fuels has been demonstrated for the generation of portable or auxiliary power by a fuel cell. The reforming process was enhanced and cost decreased through use of InnovaTek's proprietary catalysts in a micro-channel reformer. Very high throughput and efficient conversion in an inherently safe, compact, and scalable reactor is achieved using this technology. Multiple fuel types and multiple reforming processes are possible using the same catalysts and reactor hardware. The InnovaGen® reformer may be integrated with PEM or SOFC fuel cells or used for stand-alone hydrogen production. |
