Summary:Speed of sound and density data for dilute liquid solutions of cyclic ether 1,4-dioxane with 1-heptanol was obtained using the Anton-Paar DSA 5000 at five temperatures   T  = (298.15, 303.15, 308.15, 313.15, and 318.15) K at atmospheric pressure. The excess parameters were calculated from experimental data and fitted with a Redlich-Kister polynomial function and concluded the presence of weak molecular interactions.
