Summary:The concept of total child, total family and total medical/educational research is still fairly new. The idea of an area learning center which encompasses all of these factors is viable and valid. This report which was presented at the Seventh International Congress on Mental Health in London, August 1968, clearly shows that regional learning centers will be a valuable tool for those of us concerned with the social, medical and educational aspects of learning disabilities.—C.C.E.
