Summary: | Entrepreneurship education is a complex topic that can be discussed from a variety of perspectives. One key question in the discussion concerns how one can adapt the general core principles of entrepreneurship education, many of which are closely linked to business education, to other academic areas that currently lack this type of education. This article discusses the challenges of developing a model of entrepreneurship education for the creative industries sector. Focusing specifically on film and media arts education, the authors examine the results of a qualitative and quantitative study of both industrial and educational (teachers and students) stakeholders’ perceptions of the relevance and role of entrepreneurship education in this field. In light of the results of the study, the authors propose a strategy and methodology for entrepreneurship education for the creative industries. |
