Description
Summary:This article deals with the political dimension of participation in radio under the new conditions of mediatic space. The author studies the political dimensions of participation by exploring different forms of inclusion of citizens in different genres of spoken radio, be it as actors, central figures of news, statistical abstraction, or object of reflection. By exploring these different dimensions of the involvement of citizens in spoken radio, the author outlines different notions of participation and the meaning these have for the participants and, through that, the implications for thinking about the problem of democratization and the public sphere.
