Carotid Sinus Hypersensitivity-Induced Syncope: A Phenomenon Unmasked during Carotid Sonography

We present a case in which carotid duplex was ordered to evaluate a patient with recurrent syncope. The patient experienced syncope during the carotid examination; however, the vascular technologist did not notice this.
