Description
Summary:A new quinolone alkaloid, 1-methyl-2-[(Z)-1-undecenyl]–4(1H)-quinolone (1), together with two known quinolone alkaloids (2–3), and three known limonoids (4–6), were isolated from the fruits of Euodia rutaecarpa (Juss.) Benth.. Their chemical structure was determined by UV, MS, NMR and comparison with literatures. Bioassay results indicated that compound 1 had moderate cytotoxicity against tumor cell lines Lovo, MDA-MB-231 and HeLa with IC50 values of 6.72, 14.20 and 13.05 μM, respectively.
