Summary: | The subject of this study is a comparison of the sensitometric properties of some silver halide emulsions precipitated in the presence of polar aprotic solvents and/or alcohols. Experimental work was carried out using silver bromoiodide emulsions precipitated in the presence of seven chosen organic solvents. The results suggest the possibility of using some solvents and leads to the preparation of a highly efficient silver halide emulsion. |
