Summary: | Two star-shaped terfluorenes with either triphenylamine or 9-phenylcarbazole core structure with different dimensionality were synthesized. The optical, thermal, electrochemical, and electroluminescent properties were investigated in comparison with those of the low-dimensional linear counterparts. Strong correlation between the molecular dimensionality and associated optoelectronic properties was demonstrated. |
