Summary:We present a genome assembly from an individual female ant, Lasius platythorax (Arthropoda; Insecta; Hymenoptera; Formicidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 288.70 megabases. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 15 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 20.73 kilobases in length.
