Description
Summary:Perceptions of work site characteristics have been described in school pscyhology literature. The current investigation focused on perceptions of Job Satisfaction, Job Stability, and Quality of Professional Life among male and female school psychologists. Analyses of responses from 209 professionals indicate positive perceptions of school psychological roles and functions across subjects, and specifically for female school psychologists. Of the three areas examined, the greatest differences between male and female school psychologists were found in the Quality of Professional Life category.
