Summary: | The analytical derivation of radiation from a finite-length electrical dipole situated within uniaxial dielectric-magnetic media is presented for the far zone. Analytical outcomes are furnished for two dipole orientations: parallel alignment with the optic axis and perpendicular alignment to it. In the parallel scenario, solely an electrically extraordinary wave is emitted, whereas in the perpendicular scenario, both electrical and magnetic waves are emitted. Nevertheless, radiation along the optic axis experiences suppression. |
