Summary: | Robertson and I are in total agreement that a major medical challenge of this decade will be to assure available personnel to provide "high-quality neonatal intensive care" to all babies who need it. We also agree that it is unimportant who provides the care, so long as the quality remains uncompromised. My belief is that critical, objective, and scientific criteria must be used to judge not only what "meds and methods" are used but also what skills and successes the caretakers have. |
