Description
Summary:The increase in the world's demand for water has become one of the most relevant topics on environmental sustainability and the conservation of water resources. As a result of the scarcity of potable water, processes such as the use of water through practices, techniques, and technologies for its efficient use have become essential for future generations. Among the possibilities for using water, air conditioning systems stand out, due to the formation of condensed water during operation. The world's population is increasingly concerned about environmental issues, showing that it is necessary to seek alternatives to recycle water, whether for use in gardening, sewage systems, washing sidewalks, and cars, among others. The present study carried out a literature review to reflect on the theme of the reuse of condensation water from air conditioners as a strategy for the sustainable use of water resources and enhancing the future of planet Earth.
