Summary:Samsung has announced the development of a full WUXGA (1920×1080) 57″ LCD‐TV panel using Super PVA (S‐PVA) technology, the world's largest LCD‐TV. This product represents several breakthrough developments, which include contrast ratio of over 1000:1, and response time of sub‐10msec using DCC‐II technology. In addition, Samsung has overcome some major obstacles toward production of such large‐sized panels.
