Summary:We fabricated and evaluated AC‐PDP with thin black rib layer on the white barrier rib. The thin black rib was prepared by green sheet using the die coater. AC‐PDP with thin black rib has high contrast ratio in the bright room than normal AC‐PDP by means of reduction of panel reflectivity. Therefore, the properties of brightness, efficiency, and current density were showed the nearly same.
