P-65: Plasma Parameters of Gas Discharge in Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps and External Electrode Fluorescent Lamps

From the light propagation observed along the tube of CCFLs and EEFLs, the electron temperature and the plasma density are estimated as kTe∼2 eV and ne∼1016 m−3. This might be a new diagnostic technology to measure the plasma parameters in the fine tube of gas discharge.
