P-154: Broadband and Wide-Viewing-Angle Black Cathode of Organic Light-Emitting Diode

Combining the absorption effect of Ag‐doped organic matrix and micro‐cavity effects of metal‐organic‐metal structure as the black cathode, a low reflectance (between 4.5 and 17%) organic light emitting diode (OLED) within entire visible range (from 400 to 800 nm) was achieved without anti‐reflection...

Description
Summary:Combining the absorption effect of Ag‐doped organic matrix and micro‐cavity effects of metal‐organic‐metal structure as the black cathode, a low reflectance (between 4.5 and 17%) organic light emitting diode (OLED) within entire visible range (from 400 to 800 nm) was achieved without anti‐reflection coating. This device looks “black” at all the viewing angles (from 0° to 75°). J‐V characteristic and operation lifetime of the “black” OLED is as good as the control device with Al cathode.
